This document provides notice of specific legal obligations in connection with your use of our Internet or “web” sites (collectively, “Site” or “Sites”). By using this Site, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (collectively, “Terms of Service”), in addition to other terms and conditions that may appear throughout our Sites. DIYK9, LLC, and American Standard K9 (ASK9), LLC, both Florida limited liability companies (“DIYK9”) and (“ASK9”) reserves the right to make changes to this Site and the Terms of Service at any time. Each time you use this Site, you should visit and review the then current Terms of Service that apply to your transactions and use of this Site. If you do not agree to be bound by the then-current Terms of Service, your sole remedy is not to use this Site. DIYK9 is not responsible for typographical or photographic errors on this Site.

 

1. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS

All Site content and collective work comprising the Site, including information, articles, data, software, photographs, graphs, videos, typefaces, graphics, music, sounds and other artwork and material (collectively “Content”) is protected by copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights under United States and/or international laws and held by DIYK9 and ASK9 and/or the original creator of the material, including DIYK9’s and ASK9’s suppliers and/or affiliates. These rights are valid and protected in all forms, media, and technologies existing now or developed in the future. All trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, domain names, and trade names are the property of their respective owners and are licensed to, or otherwise used with permission by, DIYK9 and ASK9. All intellectual property used on the Site may not be reproduced, copied or otherwise manipulated in any manner without express, written permission of the owner. DIYK9 and ASK9 disclaims any proprietary interest in intellectual property other than its own.

 

2. SITE DOWNLOADS RESTRICTED

You may only download Content displayed on this Site for non-commercial, personal use, provided you also retain all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in our Content. Do not alter the Content, and do not copy or post the Content on any network computer or broadcast the Content in any media. Except as expressly authorized herein, or by an authorized representative of DIYK9 and ASK9 or by license, DIYK9 and ASK9 strictly prohibits modifying, transmitting, distributing, reusing, reposting, “framing” or using the Content of this Site and the Site servers, including the text, images, audio and/or video for public or commercial purposes or for any other purpose without DIYK9’s or ASK9’s written consent. Downloading images of products or services for sale within this Site are strictly prohibited. You may not copy, modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, lease or rental of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit the Content of this Site, in whole or in part. DIYK9 and/or ASK9 is not liable or responsible for any content provided by its users or other third parties for use on this Site. Contributions to this Site by third parties do not necessarily represent the view or opinions of DIYK9 or ASK9. If applicable, DIYK9 or ASK9 may not preview user content before it appears on this Site. Users can be held liable for any illegal or prohibited user content they provide to this Site, including among other things, infringing, defamatory or offensive materials. 3. PAYMENT TERMS

DIYK9 and ASK9 accept all major credit cards and debit cards through our secure payment processor. For membership subscriptions, your card will be charged automatically on a monthly basis unless canceled prior to the billing date. In the event of a failed payment, we reserve the right to retry the payment or suspend access to your account until the balance is paid. DIYK9 and ASK9 reserves the right to charge late fees or terminate accounts for unpaid balances.

 

4. REFUND POLICY

Digital Product Refunds (Courses, Bundles, Videos)

Any digital product purchased from DIYK9.com, such as courses, bundles, or individual training videos, is backed by our 30-day, no-questions-asked Money-Back Guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, simply request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 5–10 business days after approval. Refunds are only available within the initial 30-day window and do not apply to any services or events unless otherwise specified.
Please note: Our course platform (Kajabi) allows us to track each user’s activity and progress within the course. This helps us maintain the integrity of our content and provide better support to our customers.

Chargebacks, Disputes, and Course Access

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, access to all purchased course(s) will be immediately revoked. We reserve the right not to reinstate access, even if the chargeback is later reversed. We encourage you to contact our support team if you have any concerns. We're happy to work with you to find a resolution. 

Membership Products (Monthly, Annual, and Premium)

We offer a cancel-anytime policy on all recurring memberships. However, we do not offer refunds for any membership payments or their renewals. If you cancel your Monthly, Annual, or Premium membership, you will no longer be billed moving forward.

You will retain access to your content for the remainder of your current billing cycle:
Monthly or Premium = access until the end of the 30-day billing cycle
Annual = access until the end of the annual term.

American Standard K9 Board and Training

10% of the program fee is due at booking. This is non-refundable under all circumstances. Full payment of the program fee is required no later than the first day of training unless a written split-payment plan is agreed to in advance.

Optional split payment (if offered in writing): 50% of the remaining balance (after deposit) due on Day 1, and the final 50% of the remaining balance due at Week 3.

Late pick-up fee: $75/day, which is comparable to our standard boarding fees. This fee accrues daily for each day past the scheduled pick-up date. This policy exists because keeping your dog beyond the agreed return date requires us to provide additional housing, care, and handling that impacts space for other dogs in training.

Non-payment: Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of training, retention of the dog until paid in full, and/or collection action. All collection costs, attorney’s fees, and court costs are the Owner’s responsibility.

Payment Disputes: Owner agrees not to dispute charges (“chargeback”) for services rendered or scheduled. Any payment disputes must be resolved directly with the Trainer. In the event of a chargeback, the Owner is responsible for all related fees and the outstanding balance.

Live Seminars & In-Person Training

All payments, including deposits, for seminars or in-person training events are non-refundable, and all sales are final. By purchasing access to these events, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. The content delivered during our live seminars and trainings are the exclusive intellectual property of our organization. No part of these events may be recorded, copied, filmed, or distributed in any form without prior written consent.In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events, we reserve the right to adjust the event schedule, offer a reschedule option, or issue a refund at our sole discretion.

If you're unable to attend after registering, you may request to:
1. Transfer your seat to another person (with prior written notice and approval), or
2. Receive credit toward a future event or any of our digital products.

While we stand by our no-refund policy, we’re committed to doing what’s right. Our team will always strive to provide ample notice, clear communication, and reasonable solutions to ensure you’re taken care of even when the unexpected happens.

Academy Programs

Deposits paid toward enrollment in Academy programs (Academy and Academy Prep) are strictly non-refundable. By submitting a deposit, the student acknowledges and agrees that such payment secures their position within the program and is not eligible for refund under any circumstances.

In the event a student is unable to complete the Academy program, refund requests for tuition paid beyond the deposit will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Our team is committed to working with students and families to find fair solutions based on individual circumstances.

 

5. APPLICABLE LAW

This Site is created, operated and controlled by DIYK9 and ASK9 in the State of North Carolina, United States of America. The laws of the State of North Carolina will govern the Site without giving effect to any principles or conflicts of laws.

 

6. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES

This Site may contain links to other sites operated by third parties, including third-party sites that display DIYK9 or ASK9 Dog trademarks (“Third-Party Site(s)”). These links are available for your convenience and are intended only to enable access to these Third-Party Sites and for no other purpose. Neither DIYK9 nor ASK9 warrant or make any representation about the substance, quality, functionality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or any other representation about any Third-Party Site or its content. A link to a Third-Party Site from this Site does not constitute sponsorship, endorsement, approval or responsibility of any such Third-Party Site. DIYK9 or ASK9 make no representation or warranty as to any products or services offered on any Third-Party Site. The conditions of use, legal notices and privacy policy of any Third-Party Site may differ substantially from the Terms of Service that apply to your use of this Site. Although DIYK9 and ASK9 believe the content to be accurate, complete, and current, DIYK9 Dog Training Inc. does not represent or warrant that the information accessible on this site is accurate, complete, or current. DIYK9 does not guarantee any expected results will be achieved.

 

8. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

In no event shall DIYK9 be liable for special, indirect, exemplary, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, loss of use, data, or profits, without regard to the form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence, or other tortuous actions, all arising out of or in connection with the use, copying, or display of the contents of this site.

 

9. SECURITY AND PROHIBITED CONTENT

By using this Site, you agree that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer and account, and you accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and password. If you access this Site on a public computer or use a computer to which multiple people may have access, follow all relevant instructions to sufficiently disconnect and log off of this Site and the computer system you are using to prevent unauthorized access to your DIYK9 account. Unlawful activities on this Site are strictly prohibited. This includes tampering with this Site, misrepresenting the identity of a user, using buying agents or conducting fraudulent activities. 10. COURSE ACCESS

All purchased courses and bundles include lifetime access, including the DIYK9 Complete Dog Training System. Once you purchase a course, you can access the content indefinitely.*

Support via Course Comments

In our standalone courses, or Puppy Essentials Bundle, you will receive 12 months of support through course comments. Purchases of the DIYK9 Complete Dog Training System will include course comment support for 24 months. If you’d like to continue receiving support beyond the initial 12 or 24-month period, you may do so by joining any of our membership subscription tiers.

*Access to purchased course content will be available for the lifetime of your account with us. DIYK9 reserves the right to revoke account access in the event Terms of Service are violated (see section 11. Termination) or if DIYK9 ceases to exist.

 

11. TERMINATION

DIYK9 reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time without notice if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in unlawful activity, or misuse the Site. Upon termination, your right to use the Site and access purchased content will immediately cease.

 

12. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold DIYK9, ASK9, and their officers, agents, employees, and other partners, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your access to the DIYK9 or ASK9 Site or use of its services offered, your use of the DIYK9 or ASK9 Site, any content posted, uploaded or transmitted by you, your use or distribution of any content, your violation of these Conditions of Use, any use of your account or password by you or any third party, or the infringement or other violation by you, or any third party using your account or password, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

 

13. AT YOU AND YOUR DOG’S OWN RISK

If you choose to use DIYK9’s dog training services, you acknowledge and agree that your dog(s) are participating at their own risk and DIYK9 is not responsible for any kind of injury, death or health complication that occurs to your dog(s) during the dog training services provided by DIYK9. If you have any concerns about your dog’s health or safety, please consult with your local veterinarian regarding your dog’s health before enrolling.

 

14. CHANGES/UPDATES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

Because our Site and services will continue to evolve, our Terms of Service are subject to change. We reserve the right to change or update our Terms of Service and to modify or terminate the Site for any reason, without notice or liability to you. As a user, you are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms.

 

15. PRIVACY POLICY

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

 

16. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data without parental consent, we will delete it.

 

17. FORCE MAJEURE

DIYK9 and ASK9 shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, war, natural disasters, pandemics, or interruptions to internet services.

 

18. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. DIYK9’s or ASK9’s failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
